720p (1280x720 pixels) is a high-definition resolution standard. While 1080p and 4K are now mainstream, 720p holds a vital middle ground. For Age of Ultron —a film packed with chaotic, shimmering action scenes (the opening Hydra assault, the vibranium heist, and the final Sokovia battle)—720p reduces the pixel count enough to slash file sizes without destroying the viewing experience. On screens 32 inches or smaller, most viewers cannot tell the difference between 720p and 1080p.
