The biggest bummer for Switch owners regarding the DLC/Update cycle is the absence of the Create-A-Park mode. While the Cross-Gen DLC packs are included, the community park sharing is not fully integrated here like it is on Steam/PlayStation. You get the core levels and the Speed Run mode via update, but if you wanted to download Tony’s recreation of Area 51, you’re out of luck.

The game is a remastered compilation of the critically acclaimed and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 , which were originally released in 1999 and 2000, respectively.

Primarily consists of the Digital Deluxe Edition content , which includes "The Ripper" skater (Powell-Peralta), retro outfits for Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero, and Rodney Mullen, and retro Create-A-Skater gear .

For those playing the official release or the NSP version via custom firmware, the portability is the main selling point. Playing Tony Hawk in handheld mode feels like holding a piece of history. The Joy-Cons handle the inputs well, and the game supports the Pro Controller, which is preferred for those high-score runs requiring analog stick precision.
