    You should now see the word "Settings" instead of . Confirm that your navigation voice guidance has also switched languages (though the voice pack may need to be downloaded separately if you changed from Japanese to a European language).

    If the menus have become scrambled, you can sometimes trigger a language prompt by resetting the unit. You should now see the word "Settings" instead of

    Tap on English (or your desired language). The screen will immediately refresh. You do not need to press "Save" or "OK." As soon as you select the new language, the entire interface will switch over. Tap on English (or your desired language)

    Add the -nl flag followed by the language code at the end of the file (on a new line).
