One of the most viral techniques from the playbook is the "7-second reset." When an animal makes a mistake (barks, lunges, spooks), the trainer does not reprimand. Instead, they turn their back or change the environment for precisely 7 seconds, then re-present the cue. This prevents flooding and reduces cortisol spikes.
