Without giving away major spoilers, the narrative pivots around a heist gone wrong and a passionate affair that threatens to unravel a high-stakes criminal operation. The first four episodes are dedicated to establishing the characters: the enigmatic drifter, the wealthy heiress with a secret, and the corrupt officer trailing them.
