UserDiag allows you to get detailed information about a device and test its components.
You can check if your computer is working properly and get advice if any problems are identified.
: Supported by major emulators like RetroArch , DuckStation , and handheld-optimized operating systems like Onion OS . 📂 Finding the Content
: Because the full Japanese library is massive, it is often split into parts (e.g., Part 1, Part 2). Other Region Sets : Similar collections exist for other regions, such as the PSX CHD ROMS C PSX CHD ROMS F collections. Why Use CHD for PSX Games? CHD is the preferred format for modern emulators like DuckStation Space Savings : It compresses large files by 30% to 60% without losing any data (lossless). File Management : It merges multi-track games (which usually have dozens of files) into a single file, making your folders much cleaner. Performance psx chd japan full
: Useful for finding specific regional variants and demos often excluded from standard sets. Performance vs. Compatibility CHD Format BIN/CUE Format Compression High (Lossless) File Count 1 file per disc Multiple (bin/cue/wav) Loading Speed Fast (Modern CPUs) Hardware Support Limited to newer ODEs : Supported by major emulators like RetroArch ,
, significantly reducing file sizes without sacrificing any original game data or audio quality. Key Features and Performance Lossless Archival Quality Why Use CHD for PSX Games
Thousands of story-driven games like Silhouette Stories offer unique branching narratives that were rare in the West at the time.
Originally developed for the MAME (Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator) project, CHD has become the gold standard for disc-based game compression. Unlike ZIP or RAR files, which merely wrap the data, CHD uses lossless compression algorithms that can shrink a CD-ROM (700MB) down to 200-400MB without losing any gameplay or audio quality.
Using UserDiag is simple and no installation is required.
Launch the tool, choose one of the three diagnostics and UserDiag do the rest.
Various computer components are then tested. Useful information for diagnosis regarding software and hardware configuration is collected.
Once completed, UserDiag exports a comprehensive report on the computer's health, with advice and solutions if any problems have been identified.
This is my PC :)
Example of an automatic report analysis by UserDiag
The report consists of three sections.
The first contains the self-analysis of the report by UserDiag, with advice to resolve identified issues.
The second groups together information such as software configuration and computer components.
The third part offers graphs recorded during the various tests. This allows detailed analysis of metrics such as temperature, frequencies, voltages, or component consumption.
UserDiag uses real-time monitoring technologies provided by HWiNFO.
This integration allows accurate and reliable readings of frequencies, temperatures, voltages, and other metrics.
Other specialized tools are also used during component tests, such as FurMark (graphics card), Prime95 (processor), or diskspd (storage).
This is done with the permission of their developers or via their license. Thank you!
